In this economic climate, no business can afford the “financial erosion” that results from being overcharged by suppliers, but that’s exactly what many companies are suffering, according to recovery audit services provider Profectus Group.
Profectus reckons one in 10 invoices contain an error, leading to an approximate overcharge error rate of around 2.25%, and missed supplier income of 1.5%.
