graduate program

Our Graduate Program

The graduate analyst role at Profectus is a 2 year rotational program allowing exposure to different parts of the business covering a wide range of ASX 100 listed clients. During this time, you will be focused on three key areas of the business allowing an 8-month rotation within our Retail analytics, GNFR or Business Intelligence/Technology service lines.

A brief overview of the areas you may be exposed to during your first two years:

Significant volumes of transactional data are ingested by Profectus from several of the top retailers in ANZ, including well-known grocery chains, pharmacies, and department shops.

During your time in this role you will gain insights into analysing areas such as duplicate supplier payments, rebates, promotional spend/activities, marketing and fixed income support, product level transactional and pricing analysis and many more.

Our retail clients trust Profectus with their data so that it can uncover human errors in their enormous amounts of transactional data and deliver them commercial outcomes. These positive results for our clients can frequently amount to millions of dollars in benefits for them and will expose them to numerous well-known names and businesses that you will find on your local high street.

Using our industry-specific intellectual property (IP) and tools, Profectus offers analytical services to deliver rolling or historical insights on complicated contracts in the indirect purchasing area. This position covers a number of significant ANZ mining, banking, and logistics organisations.

You will learn how to analyse complicated contractual areas such as freight and logistics, facilities management, labour and people contracts, and many more as you work in this position.

For all of their indirect payments, our clients in this market rely on Profectus to ingest, process, and ensure ongoing contract compliance. These clients are frequently exposed to well-known brands in banking or mining.

Utilising our data with industry-leading dashboard and BI software to give our partners deeper insights into their data is one of Profectus' expanding business areas.

By offering our partners expenditure and supplier revenue management dashboards, resource optimisation, and gap analysis insights, this function elevates our other services.

Assisting the BI team in creating internal or external data models for review and potential implementation will be your responsibility during the course of your tenure in this position.

Good SQL capabilities (or a desire to learn more) are advantageous in this field.
